Hi, I’m Katherine

I’m a Texas-based mom of two amazing kiddos, and I love sharing parenting moments and making videos about our crazy lives! When I’m not online, I’m usually soaking up the outdoors, traveling, trying new recipes and restaurants, or discovering new spots with my crew.

I started all this because I don’t know where I’d be without my mom friends – our conversations are some of the most revitalizing parts of my day. Otherwise, I’d probably drive myself crazy worrying about my kids. It’s so relieving when I hear a friend say “oh, my kid also likes to lick things!” More often than not, most of our conversations end with just a ton of laughs as we exchange our mothering stories. It seems like we’re all just living the same lives in so many ways, with similar worries and relatable laughs. So many times along the way, I’ve thought “that would make a hilarious video” and here we are. I hope that my videos and whimsical graphics resonate with your parenting journey too!

More about Cheers to Monday

For a couple years after college, I was an engineer by day and a scrapbooker by night. Always gravitating towards my artistic side, I quickly jumped into the graphic design by created brochures for an engineering sales team – the perfect hybrid of my daytime and nighttime gigs. Eventually I began freelancing, which eventually led to the creation of Cheers to Monday, a coinage-turned-company-name of how I felt about graphic design – I looked forward to the stereotypically dreaded Monday because it meant a new week of work that I love. It seemed fitting to incorporate my usual email sign off – “Cheers!” and Cheers to Monday was born.

Fast forward several years later – I still love Mondays and I still sign off with “Cheers!”, but my weeks look a little (or a lotta) different as a mom. My passion for graphic design has morphed into a passion for animation. Naturally, most of the idea revolve around motherhood and I’m incredibly thankful that I get to spend most of my time doing the things I love most!
